Biography

Born on Oct 18 in Luoyang, Jian Shuo became the third child of his family. He received his primary school and junior middle school education at the school of Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Corporation (LPEC), where his parents were working. He entered the best school in Luoyang, the Luoyang No. 1 Middle School, in 1992. Three years later, he graduated as one of the top students of the school. He also got the highest score in English within the Henan province in the entrance examination of colleges. He entered Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) as the first place winner.

In SJTU

In Jiao Tong University, he spent all his time on computers and quitted lots of the courses. Fortunately, he graduated successfully in 1999 and was admitted by Microsoft Global Technical Engineering Center (Microsoft Greater China Regional Support Center at that time) as a support engineer. 

Support Engineer in Microsoft

He supported FrontPage and Excel in Desktop Application Team before he was transferred to eCommerce team one year after he entered Microsoft. At the same time, he as awarded the Employee of the Month (EOM) and Annual Award during his early years in Microsoft. Later, he became the youngest Senior Engineering in the history of the center.

Project manager

Jian Shuo managed the Software Park training project for half year as a project manager in eCommerce team. This has becoming a very important role for his current job.

Speaker

Before the job of project manager, Jian Shuo Wang was a Senior Engineer of Microsoft Global Technical Engineering Center in Shanghai, China. Through his speech, seminars, training, and consulting, Jian Shuo helps IT professionals, developers and IT managers all over the country understand, use, and make better decisions about the latest technologies.

Jian Shuo has spoken for many conferences in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou. He�s also delivered training at many in-house events. His speeches have been attended by thousands of developers and decision makers.

Major Microsoft events (see a list) Jian Shuo spoke at include Microsoft DevDays 2001, TechEd 2000, and Banner Exchange Program. He also delivered speech on several Intel and Siemens Asia Pacific events. One of his favorite places to talk is universities. The list include Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Tong Ji University. Team Lead

Jian Shuo now works on Asia Community to drive the participation of Microsoft people to join communities to directly answer customer's questions and get their feedback. I believe it is a very right direction as a company to go.
