[End of the report for previous version]
In the last three years, every day of my life starts with exactly the same schedule: 8:10 get up, 8:20 leave home, walk 13 minutes to the Jin Jiang Park Subway Station, take the 8:34 subway (many of my colleagues live in the area of Xin Zhuang, this train is just fine for working time at 9:00. We tend to take the same train. Once, the subway line #1 broke down, 80 out of 300 employees in the company were late), 8:45 arrive at the Xu Jia Hui Station, 8:50 step into the lobby of Metro Tower. If everything is fine, I will be right at the desk at 8:54. In our company, we don't check the arrival time. But if late, he/she will send a sorry letter to colleagues as a tradition. Nobody wants to send this letter, so, be on time. The best schedule is needed for white collars who likes sleep. The bottom line as a white collar is to be professional. |
The concept of "white collar" seems not the best word to me. I prefer to call this group of people "foreign venture employees". The salary is certainly one of the standards, the other is "well educated young generation, working in foreign venture with high salary", according to my communication with foreigners. "Their behavior, value, working status, lifestyle are very similar with those in western, very close to international trends." I think, this is probably the so called "white collars".
