Actually http://www.topleftpixel.com is a photolog that i check daily. Plenty of great shots there.

Here is the workflow after you shoot a photo, very helpful, I think.
Anyway, if you have problem about white balance, the safest way is to shoot photos with RAW format, and adjust the white balance using the Canon supplied DPP software.
